He's an artist. That's all I can say! :) A couple of weeks ago we were invited to a birthday party that was being held at a local art studio. The theme was dinosaurs and all the kids got the opportunity to make a volcano!
He has his apron and safety glasses, all ready to go!
Getting started putting the clay around the glass bottle. Dad was a big help.
Safety first.
The artist at work.
The party was really fun, lots of kids and each one had their own station!
Dad is helping putting on the finishing touches!
But Hunter had to have the last say....
Here it is!!!
Cheese!
Here is video of the volcano explosion. I think he was impressed, even though he didn't really show it...
So cute. We had a lot of fun.
There was a cool courtyard out back and they had a BBQ. There is Hunter, in the green shirt, running. He refused to take off his apron.
Happy Birthday Porter!
Yes, that is a cupcake underneath those 4 inches of frosting (ugh).
I am not sure if Hunter actually ate any of the "cake"
Yup, a big old wad of frosting in his hand and he is loving it. Gross right?!?! :)
We all had so much fun! What a great idea to host a birthday party at the art studio! We didn't get to take the volcano home (sadly), so sorry, it's not for sale.
