Hunter is a reader!

So last week CWU hosted an event called Family Literacy Night on campus. This is where Education students come and read stories out loud to kids. All kids and their parents are invited and there's free popcorn, juice and books for the kids. We decided to go for the first time and it was a lot of fun! The event is hosted in a big room where each student just had their own little station, and all the kids could just wander around to each station and listen to each story.

It helped he had puppets the kids could play with too...

They had a whole table full of books that kids could take home. And of course, Hunter picked out the Cars book instantly and didn't want to give any other book any thought. LOL! 

Unfortunately the other ones for this year on the nights I have classes, but hopefully we can attend another one next quarter. We had a ton of fun!
