Happy Halloween! RAR!

I realize it is the middle of November before I am posting about Halloween, but it isn't Thanksgiving yet so I am still feeling like it is a reasonable time frame - right??

Hunter was a dinosaur this year - oh, excuse me, a "T-Wex." The day before we put the costume on for a trial run and he did nothing but cry! Lol, it was horrible. So Friday, on Halloween, when I went home I assumed it was going to be an early evening for us. I was wrong! The teachers at school had the kids dress up in costumes all day so Hunter I think got used to the idea. And when I got home he was in his costume and ready to go!
It is really hard getting a 2 year old to stand still.....
...especially when the dogs are looking through the window!
Side shot, and photo bomb by Pickle.
Every year we go downtown. The Ellensburg Downtown Association supplies all the businesses with tons of candy and the stores stay open late. It is a really cool thing. It is from 3-6, so it is nice to have the kids out trick-o-treating before it gets dark. *Please note his dinosaur shoes from this summer that he had to wear with his costume.
There they go! You can see that the CWU ROTC program has their cadets volunteer each year to be crossing guards at each intersection. Nice right??
He was so funny mumbling trick-o-treat!
We ran into my co-worker Justin and his wife Monica and son Porter. Hunter and Porter go to the same school. Aren't their dinosaur costumers great?! Of course we had to get a pic of all the dinosaurs together.
More candy to be had.
Hunter got a little bashful with all the cute kitty cats at the Pet Center....
Love this little guy!
Not long after this picture he told me his can was "too heavy" and asked me to hold it..lol. I am here to serve.
We had a wonderful Halloween. We stopped out our local burger joint like we do every year and "treated" ourselves to burgers and fries....and candy for dessert!
