Girls' Weekend, so needed!

Every fall quite a few of my girlfriends from highschool throw a Girl's Weekend. Last year I got to host it and this year we decided to rent a cabin on Ceour d' Alene Lake. It was wonderful! Some people came late or had to leave early, but on Saturday we were all there. All 6 of us. So of course we had to take a ton of selfies to mark the occasion. We hung out at the cabin, drank wine and had a wonderful time catching up. We also ran into town and did some shopping and treated ourselves to dinner and (more) drinks. I only get to see these girls once a year, so this is a real treat. It was even better this year because it was the first time I have seen my friend Adina since high school (the one on the right in the pic below). I haven't seen her in almost 15 years! The one year I wasn't able to go to a Girl's Weekend was the only one she had been able to attend up until that point. (I was home on bed rest, about 5 months pregnant with Hunter.) It was so nice seeing her and catching up!

I look forward to this weekend every year. This is a very special group of ladies and they mean the world to me. The type of friends where on the drive home you notice your stomach and cheeks are sore from laughing so much. I have known most of them my entire life and no matter what each of us have going in our lives we make time to get together, and we always seem to pick up right where we left off!
