Father's Day Weekend

Last weekend we had a great time celebrating Father's Day! On Saturday we all loaded up and went exploring in Eastern Washington to check out some new hunting spots. We even had a deer jump right out in front of us in one spot, so I would say it looks promising! Hunter was super excited to see it (Mike too!). Also, there was a crop dusting plane out in one area and he flew super low and right next to our car, Hunter thought it was so awesome! He is obsessed with PLANES!

We packed a lunch and stopped at a lake to play around, which was so much fun! There wasn't a great spot to set up a picnic, so we all just crowded in the back of the Explorer.
The girl's had a great time!
This was our view. We didn't let the girl's off leash too much because there are a ton of rattlesnakes in this area, but they got to go swimming for a while and they loved it! Hunter had fun throwing rocks in the water.
Cheese! Love my little family!
Another view of the lake.
That was our adventures most of Saturday. On Sunday we just hung out around the house and relaxed and played in the yard. I attempted to make Mike chicken fried steak and eggs for breakfast, his favorite. It was a good attempt, but nowhere near the top 5 (or even 10) on the Best List, event though he said it was "right up there"....isn't he sweet! LOL. We had a great weekend!

P.S. I start school again next week, Higher Education Law - blah. I got the book yesterday and it looks a little daunting. Anyhoo, once again, if I am MIA from the blog (and in life in general) that is why! Wish me luck!

  1. Thank you for inviting me. I love your photos and keeping up with Hunter. I wish we weren't all so far apart.
