Mike and I decided to take a last minute trip to the Oregon Coast for Easter weekend. We were able to spend a 4-day weekend in Nehalem and it was great! The weather was BEAUTIFUL all weekend and we were able to get some great visiting time in with the family...oh yeah, and the puppies got to play the whole time!
Friday morning Mike and I went to Tillamook to surprise my Grandpa. He didn't know we were coming. He was shocked! It was so funny! We went to lunch and dinked around Tillamook.
Aunt Cammy let us borrow her brand new Mercury Mariner...super nice car! The girls were ready!!

Mom and Aunt Cammy made a wonderful Easter dinner! Smoke ham, canned green beans from last year's garden, twice-baked potates...ok, I am going to stop there. I am getting hungry again.

After dinner we went for a drive to the coast. I miss living so close to it!

Grandpa and I soaking up the sun! PS - Yes, I am a blonde now!

Ok, this is funny. I was trying to get all 4 dogs to sit pretty for a picture.
Try #1. Look at Lacey in the front! LOL. Do you think Radar looks bored in the back??

Try #2 - turned out to be the best one.

Try #3 - Aunt Cammy and Mike decided to help. Thanks for that!

The girls' cousins: Smokey (front) and Radar (back).

Ok, here is the big news! YUP! I bought a car! When we were in Tillamook on Saturday with Grandpa we drove by the Ford dealership. I had decided I wanted a Ford Explorer, but just couldn't find one I liked. I saw this one and sure enough, it is perfect! I am so excited!

More pics of the coast on the way home. So pretty!
