It has been a while, so here is an update

I know I haven't posted in a couple of weeks so I thought I would let everyone in on what we have been up to.

We have been immersed in car shopping, and it turns out that it isn't as fun as it used to be. I have my eye on a Ford Explorer. I think it is a nice compromise of what I want versus how much I want to spend. Turns out though that most of the newer ones we are looking at used to be rental cars and are pretty beat up. So the search continues. Ugh.

On the home front we spent the weekend working outside. It was super windy, but sunny so we took advantage of it! I mowed the lawn for the first time and forgot how much I enjoy it, and the smell of fresh cut grass! I also got my garden all tilled up and ready to go to plant in a few weeks, and put down some grass seed in a few areas that didn't make it through the winter.

Mike is off this week and plans to get a jump on the bathroom. It has taken a backseat the last few weeks with this whole car shopping task. So I am happy we are back into remodel mode. He should finish the electrical and get drywall up this week. So I hope to have pictures this weekend to show everyone!

Ok, there is my update, nothing really "picture-worthy" to show you. And now, after reading back through my post, nothing really exciting is going on either. LOL.
