Trip around the northwest

Last week Mike and I took a long weekend and went to visit some family before the snow comes. We had a wonderful time! The weather was great everywhere we went and it was so nice to catch up with everyone.

First stop was at my mom's where we had a wonderful dinner! Then the next day we went to visit my aunt and uncle.

Aunt Patti and I, in the kitchen, preparing yummy snacks for dinner!

Aunt Patti made all the doggies super cute Halloween neckerchiefs. Don't the girls look cute?!?!

Uncle Wes and Aunt Patti's dogs, Penny (chocolate lab) and Gracie (the little one in the upper right corner). And of course Pickle!

C'mon, drop something, we are SOOOOO hungry!

We had a great time (Thanks Patti and Wes!) but it was time to move on for stop #3. We went to Tillamook to visit my Grandpa, Aunt Cammy and Uncle Bob.

Mike and I stopped on the way. We sure miss the Oregon coast!
Isn't he handsome!
Mike was excited to see some elk.
This is the typical scene at Aunt Cammy and Uncle Bob's house. Lacey running the entire time, followed closely (for at least the first few rounds) by Radar and yes, Pickle holding up the rear.
Mom came over for the weekend too, so that was great. Aunt Cammy, Grandpa and Mom. Sorry the exposure is awful, not sure what happened there...
It always gets crazy when the gardening book comes out....
Grandpa and I kickin' it in the sun. That is Sandy walking in from of us.
Mike cleaning off the dogs to get ready to go home. The picture doesn't show how incredibly funny it was watching him do this. I know, instead of helping I laughed and took pictures. So sue me! :)
We stopped at Cannon Beach on the way home. Such a great day!
Thank you to everyone for all the great food and fun! Can't wait for ya'll to head to Ellensburg this spring!

  2. The pics are great and it looks like you just made your rounds prior to the snow on the passes! And by spring we will be closer to you guys! I love the elk pic. Mike wouldn't be from Coos County unless he got excited over seeing elk!
