Well, today is the first official day of school. Fall Quarter classes at CWU have begun. It is nice to have the students around again, a little bit of hustle and bustle around the building is nice!
So work is super busy right now. Not only because the students are back, but also because Homecoming is in 2 weeks! Yikes! The comedian Wayne Brady is our entertainment headliner, so I am currently working with his publicist to get phone interviews between him and local/regional media next week. I also have numerous other events and programs I am working on at the same time. But I love my job - so I don't mind!
I also started my Graduate School class this week, the History of Education. It is online through CWU, and I just looked at the syllabus and it seems like it will be a great class and keep me busy! I am excited to get started - even though it cumulates with a 15 page paper at the end of quarter! :) Eek!
Anyway, all this to say that things are incredibly busy for me right now. Add Mike, Hunter, the dogs (chickens too!) and the house in the mix and I don't have much "free" time. So be patient with me. I might not update the blog every week anymore like I usually do, but I will do my best.
Ok, gotta go, have my first assignment! Wish me luck!
