Mike and I definitely did our part to help the economy this week! The deal was, when I got my car, Mike (and I) would get a boat. Well, since we got back from Oregon last weekend with my new Explorer Mike has been glued to Craigslist. And wouldn't ya know, he found a boat! (*This is where everyone can gasp in astonishment).
Now, what I want in a boat is much different than what Mike wants. He wanted a fishing/duck hunting boat, and for those that don't know what this means it is a boat with one, maybe two seats and that is it. Not very comfy! I wanted a ski boat, with tons of comfy/cushiony benches and seats to sunbathe in. Well, I think we found a good compromise!
Here she is. Mike hasn't named her yet, but he is so excited! It is a 17' foot invader, with a new motor. You will need to call him for more details.
It was a gorgeous day on Sunday, so we decided to see what the girls thought of our new purchase. We did some "yachting" in the yard..yeah, white trash, we know. But whatever.
I am pretty sure we need to get life jackets for the girls. They are great swimmers actually, but it would just make me feel better! Safety first!
Lacey is sunbathing. I did too, and got pretty red!!
