The last couple weeks have been pretty busy. But also pretty exciting! First, we closed on the house!! Wahooo! I don't know if any of you have sold a house in the last few years, but boy, the process is nuts!! Almost makes us wonder if we should buy another one. But everything worked out great and we signed the papers last week. It feels great to finally close the chapter on Ellensburg, even though we loved it there and our home. It was kind of bittersweet, that was the first home we bought, the first home we remodeled, the home we brought Hunter home to, etc. Lots of memories in that house. But those memories quickly faded when we saw a big ol' ZERO next to our mortgage account...lol. Of course I can't help but look for houses here now, but I think we are going to wait a while. I think we have had enough life changes in the last few months, and still have another pretty big one on the way! Maybe next spring, but we will see. We really like the house we are renting and mortgage prices seem to be on their way up.
Baby and me are doing great. He is moving around like crazy! At my last doctor appointment they said the head was down, so that is good news. I am not dilated yet, but they said things are progressing! I officially have less than 4 weeks until my due date. So I would assume I still have a couple of weeks left, but it could really happen any time! Which stresses me out because Mike and I haven't figured out a name yet. Picking a name is sooo hard! Anyway, the nursery is ready, car seat is in the car, clothes are washed and put away - we are pretty close to being ready to meet the little guy!
Hunter is doing great. He is at a really fun stage and is just full of random side notes and thoughts. He randomly asks me almost every day if I smell ham. Weird. He is super excited to meet his little brother and to be Mom's Big Helper. We are just enjoying these fall days and playing outside. Here is a super cute picture of him and Pickle. He adores Pickle and just wants to play with her so bad, but Pickle usually isn't a big fan. However, Lacey tries to get Hunter to play with him and he just ignores her...lol. Can't win.
