Oregon Trip

Considering in a few weeks I will be starting classes again, we decided to get out of town for the weekend and go visit my Mom in Portland and my Aunt Cammy and Uncle Bob on the coast.

So I am sure you all remember Pickle's big movie debut?? If not, se about 3 or 4 posts ago. Anyhoo, when we got to the coast my Aunt Cammy had Pickle's dressing room all ready to go. LOL, I was dying, this was so funny!
Luckily she let Mike, Hunter, Lacey and I crash in her room too.
It was kind of rainy that day so we just hung out at the house, drank wine and watched old movies. It was great to just sit around with my mom and my aunt and visit for a while. Uncle Bob took Mike out to do "manly stuff" - whatever that means, but I am sure he enjoyed himself!

The next morning we all got up and went to the beach. Hunter was so excited and that entire day at school before we left he was telling all of his friends that "I goin to beach!"

Mike and I sure miss living closer to the Oregon Coast.

One of my favorite pics of all time. RUN!!

I am pretty sure Hunter could have run from the waves all day!
We have so much fun together.

We even ran into a few corgis!! They of course had to come over and check out Pickle.
What's better than just 1 corgi on the beach? 2!
"Big waves Mom"
Grandma Chris got in on the fun.

Cheese!

It was a GORGEOUS day on the beach! It was chilly at my aunts house and we all bundled up, but when we got down to the beach it was 55 degrees and sunny! We were all starting to peel off clothes because it was getting hot! We couldn't believe it was still this warm in December.

The evening before Hunter was a big help getting dinner ready.
Porkchops are ready to go into the oven!
I am pretty sure Mom and Aunt Cammy had fun with Hunter.
Mike and Hunter making sure all 4 dogs are in their appropriate place. And yes, that is the Boise State game on the TV. We won, shocker, I know.
That's my boy, watching the game! He loved playing with all the dogs too.

We headed back to Portland and Steven came down and met us at Mom's house. It was his birthday, so of course Hunter and I had to make him a cake! "Happy Birthday to You...."
Uncle Steven had Hunter help him blow out the candles.
White cake, strawberries and whipped cream - I am pretty sure Hunter liked it.
We had a great time and wonderful trip! Thank you everyone for such a great weekend! We are now hunkering down for winter and don't plan on going anywhere any time soon. It snowed yesterday and more is on the way, yay!
