Happy Thanksgiving!

We had a great Thanksgiving! I made pumpkin pie, from a pumpkin out of our garden! Yes, I cooked up the pumpkin, pureed it and even made pie crust on scratch! I am not a baker, so this was huge for me and I am happy to report that they turned out great....as you can tell I didn't make humble pie. :)
The day before Thanksgiving my Dad and Laura came into town. Hunter's school had a Harvest Festival and they were able to go too. Hunter and his classmates made stone soup, cornbread and a fruit salad for lunch in their classroom.

Laura had a wonderful time with Hunter!
Dad enjoying his lunch and being silly!
I sure love this boy! We had so much fun.
Thanks for coming Grandma and Grandpa!
The next day we headed to Puyallup for Thanksgiving. Steven and Cara worked really hard a prepared a great meal. Here Cara and her mom Deb are with the kids at the Kiddie Table.
I didn't do a good job of taking photos for the rest of the weekend. I think stuffing myself on food and not being able to get off the couch had something to do with it. We had a great time visiting and spending time with family. Thanks everyone for a great weekend!
