Logging Show Conquered

On Labor Day Weekend we decided to skip the fair and head up to Roslyn, in upper county, to go to a log show. We had so much fun! And yes, we were all in flannels and the boys had their red suspenders on.

Hunter got to meet Smokey the Bear!
Roslyn is a really cool town and they have an amazing Farmer's Market, so it was fun to cruise around and check things out.
Before the logging show started Hunter had an AMAZING time playing on the really cool playground nearby.
This is how you ride a horse.
He loved the slide! I am not sure what Mike and that other kid are talking about in the background...lol.
They also had bouncy houses, which was Hunter's first time. He absolutely loved it. As you can see, we didn't get much time to enjoy the logging show..lol. We were mostly playing with all the kids.
"I can do it Dad!"
Did I mention he had a ton of fun?

Bounce Bounce Bounce

Finally we got to check out the actually show. It was actually pretty cool and there ended up being quite a few people there. More than they expected they said.
Axe Throwing
When they did the races on the poles it was amazing. These guys were so fast!
The Fire Department was hosting a BBQ to raise money, so naturally we had to get "amboogers" as Hunter calls them. It was a gorgeous day and we had so much fun just sitting and enjoying our lunch.
My boys - in flannel and their suspenders. We fit right in. :)
Like I said, we had a great time! Hunter wasn't too happy about leaving the playground or bouncy houses, but about 10 minutes into the drive home he was out. HA!
