Weekend with Aunt Patti and Shelly

The weekend before last we had quite a bit of visitors, it was great! My Aunt Patti and her step daughter Shelly came to visit. Patti lives in Corvallis and Shelly was in town all the way from Florida! They were actually visiting on a somewhat somber note. They were spreading the ashes of my Uncle Wes, who was a wonderful man. He died a few years ago and it just broke our hearts. On the way to Ellensburg they found a beautiful lake to spread his ashes. It was beautiful and absolutely perfect.  Exactly what he would have wanted.

That evening when they got into Ellensburg it was so wonderful visiting with them! I hadn't seen Shelly since Uncle Wes' funeral, so it was great to catch up and actually visit with her. Of course I had a wonderful time visiting with my Aunt Patti, my Dad's sister. She always is fun to be around and Hunter just adores her. She brought some beautiful, hand made quilts for Hunter, which he loves, and a huge box full of Disney movies. I am pretty sure we have watched Cars a MILLION times! :) Thank you Patti!

 Like I said, we had a great visit. It was a short one, but so much fun. Can't wait for them to visit again!
