Tenbusch Family Visits!

A couple of weeks ago the Tenbusch family came to visit. Libby is a dear friend of mine and has been for quite a few years now. She and I worked at Good Samaritan Regional Medical Center when we lived in Oregon and we became fast friends. She and Brian got married the weekend after Mike and I, so we hit it off with wedding-talk, and, well, haven't stopped talking since! We can talk for days and the best part, we can go weeks sometimes without talking and pick up right where we left off! This is actually the first time we have SEEN each other in 2 years - crazy, and we made a pact to not let it be so long the next time! So it was FANTASTIC that they made the trek up from Oregon for a long weekend. I miss not being able to go to lunch with her or grab a quick walk in between meetings....like we did so many times at Samaritan!
They have 2.5 kids...lol...Evelyn is 5, Amelia is 2 and there is another little girl on the way - due in October! Hunter had SOOO much fun with the girls! He was so cute with them and I am pretty sure they had fun with him too!

I think this was the first time Hunter has taken a bath with any other kids...lol....and lets just say, there was water everywhere to prove how much fun they were having! :)
One day we loaded up the kids and went for a walk around campus. I wanted to show Libby Hunter's school and where I work. Plus, there are so many open spaces around campus that are great for the kids to just run and play!

Ameila + Hunter + Evelyn = ADORABLE!
They "owned" the campus.
Future Wildcats?
Ameila and Hunter weren't very impressed that the "center of Washington state" landmark is on campus - but Evelyn thought it was pretty cool! Doesn't she looked "centered" - ha, I couldn't resist!

Libby introduced Hunter to suckers...thank you Libby. ;)
RUNNING! Campus is beautiful this time of year, so it was great to go for a super long walk and let the kids run.
That evening we hung out at the house and BBQ'd. The boys went fishing for the afternoon and had a great time, Mike even caught a couple!

Amelia loved playing with Hunter's trucks, too funny!
And Hunter loved playing with the girls' scooter....I see one in our near future.
Being silly!
The girl's were adorable! Both of them crawled on my lap one morning to snuggle and watch cartoons! SO CUTE!
Checking on the chickens!
Try getting 3 kids to pose for the camera....
We had a wonderful time! The girl's were just great and Hunter had so much fun with them. I also had a great time chatting with Libby and getting caught up on life. Thanks Tenbusch family for coming, and I will call when you need to put out the welcome mat for our visit soon! :)
