Happy 4th!

Lol..yes, I realize the 4th of July was 2 weeks ago - that is how behind I am!! :) Anyhoo, we went over to Puyallup for part of the weekend. Most of my family were in town so it was great for all of us to be together. Plus, it was super hot in Ellensburg, so it was nice to be somewhere where it was a little cooler!

Another great gift idea for Hunter! :) He loved playing with his cousin Kenny's t-ball set. And he was pretty good too!

My little all-star!
He then moved to the front of the house and showed Aunt Cara how to blow bubbles. :)
My Uncle Jerry, Aunt Cammy and Aunt Debby. So fun to have everyone together, and the weather was perfect!
Uncle Bob, Mike and my brother Steven pondering something...I am sure it was important.
Kenny getting in on the bubble fun too!
I love the smile on Uncle Bob's face in the picture! Hunter has a way of doing that. :)
Steven got the pool and sprinkler out. And yes, that is my kid just chilling at the snack bar while Kenny is playing in the pool. He comes by it honestly. he he.
LOL...he is such a ham! -comes by that honestly too eh??
The kids had so much fun together.
Sophia joined in!
Look at my kid chillin' in the pool! And that smile!!
I LOVE THIS PICTURE!! Can you tell they are siblings or what?!!?
We love BBQ!
Aren't Uncle Jerry's sisters being so attentive? I am sure he was saying something really profound. :)
Couldn't be happier with these guys.
That evening cupcakes were served for dessert - YUM! I can't decide if Kenny is laughing or keeping an eye on Hunter to not steal his cupcake. LOL. Hunter looks pretty happy with his own cupcake though, don't ya think?
You're silly Kenny!
CHEESE!
It was time for fireworks. I will be the first to admit, I am not a huge fan - especially for the ones that squeal super loud! Hunter wasn't either, so after the first couple Hunter was ready for a break, so we went inside and watched Curious George for a while. But then he was ready to go back out again and see what the commotion was all about.

Sparklers with Uncle Steven!
Sophia liked the Sparklers too.
Grandma Chris got in on the action too! Hunter really also liked the Cracker Snaps, the little white ones that you step on that pop - or if you're a meanie like my brother the ones that pop when you throw them at your sister!
One of the bigger fireworks was actually really cool. It went really high up in the sky and when it exploded all of these little men in parachutes came trickling down. You can see the red parachutes. Super neat. There were little parachute men all over the yard, house, on the neighbors roof...lol.

He was a trooper for the rest of the fireworks. Some were loud, but he knew what to do!
We had a wonderful time, and it was so fun have everyone together for a great BBQ and fireworks. Thank you Johnson's for hosting! Hope you all had a great 4th of July too!
