This past weekend Mike and I had Hunter baptized at the local Catholic church. Being Catholic is pretty important to me and it meant so much to get him baptized. My friend Leslie is Hunter's Godmother and my brother Steven is his Godfather. Thankfully there weren't too many Marlon Brando impressions! We had so many family and friends in town to celebrate all weekend. It was gorgeous weather and we all had a wonderful time!
Hunter hanging out with Uncle Bob. They are great friends!
Everyone outside enjoying the 75 degree weather! First warm day of the year! Some of us even got a little pink!
We even busted out the sprinkler for Sophie and Ken. So cute!
Aunt Cammy and Leslie soaking up the sun.
Mike was up early smoking a brisket, which was delish! Mom made her famous potato salad and deviled eggs. Thanks to Leslie and Aunt Cammy for helping too!!
Grandpa and Ken, what a great picture!
This one too!!
Do you think she is tired from playing in the sprinkler??
Hunter in his suit for the baptism. Awe!
Proud parents!
Godparents! Leslie is 6 months pregnant by the way!
Presenting Hunter to the Parish. He was such a good boy during the whole thing!
Pretty girl!
Family outside the church. Can you tell Hunter is getting tired and had enough?? LOL
I can't wait for baby Edwards to get here this July!!
I was so happy my Grandma Johnson was able to come. She is really the only practicing Catholic in my family anymore and it meant so much for her to be here.
So tired (and hot!) afterwards.
Mike borrowed Sophie's sunglasses. Watch out ladies, he is all mine!
Parents! I am so happy this pic turned out!
Aunt Cammy and Uncle Bob came all the way from the Oregon coast. I love having them visit!
Leslie's birthday was just a few days before, so of course we had to put that on the cake too!
Singing Happy Birthday, doesn't she look thrilled?!?! :)
I forgot a candle, so we used my thumb. LOL!
It was such a beautiful evening and we all enjoyed just sitting outside and visiting. I am so fortunate to have had everyone come.
Hunter and Grandma
The "Mike's" talking about something super interesting, I am sure....
Pretty cute bunch if I do say so myself!
Hunter loves Grandma Laura. He was gnawing on her hand the next day. So funny. I am pretty sure he is going to be teething soon!
Hugs!
Hi Great Grandma!
Cuddling with Grandpa.
We all had a wonderful time and couldn't have asked for better weather! Hot but not too hot. Thank you so much to all my family and friends for coming and being a part of this special occasion.
What a special day!!! Loved all the photos, you look great! Hope to see you and Hunter this summer! xoxoxo
