Fun-filled weekend

Last week was my birthday and I had a great week and weekend! First it started out with dinner and drinks with my girlfriends the night before my birthday. Then on my birthday I totally had a guy's-type of birthday, I wanted to stay home and watch BSU vs. U of O on ESPN and eat pizza and drink beer!! EESH..lol! But I had a great time, partially due to the fact that BSU WON!! GO BRONCOS! Then on Saturday Mike and I went to the county fair and rodeo. We went to the Extreme Bulls championship, which was fun! Last but not least, I ended the weekend doing a 5k with my girlfriends.

The Extreme Bulls championship. They estimate 10,000 people come to Ellensburg every Labor Day weekend for the fair and rodeo. It is kind of a big deal here!

Lacey joined me on the 5k. She did great, except for the shot gun start. That was slightly chaotic....she kept looking around for the down duck. HA! I actually did really well and finished in one of my best times.

The girls and I went to Starbucks afterwards. Lacey was tired...

It was a great weekend. In between everything we worked hard putting in the kitchen countertops and backsplash. We should be done really soon, so stay tuned for pictures!
