Finally....the bushes are gone

It was a gorgeous day yesterday so Mike and I decided to finish up some much needed yard work. We wanted to cut down and tear out all the old nasty bushes in front of our house. After a couple of weekends and a dozen trips to the dump we are finally finished!

We had to use the Jeep to get some of the bushes out. It was kind of cool!

We are going to make this area where we store all of our wood for the wood stove. We also just planted grass to try to fill in the area a little.

Since we still have so much to do inside we wanted to just get the yard cleaned up this year. So that next spring we can plant some flowers and stuff.

Stay tuned....we are going to start knocking out walls and finishing the kitchen in the next couple of weeks!
