We had a doctors appointment and boy have things progressed! For the last two weeks I have been just a .5 centimeter dilated. Today, we found out I am 1.5 centimeters dilated and 50% effaced! Basically, things are happening! Baby is head down in the birth canal and everything looks good. The doctor wants to start seeing me twice a week, so we go back in on Friday. Full term is 37-42 weeks, so my doctor said he will deliver me anytime. Eek!
The only issue right now is my blood pressure. It is starting to get a little high and if this continues he said he will induce me early. Which considering how much my body is already preparing for delivery, he said it wouldn't take much to get labor going! He also said this is my last week working. So I am just going in for a few hours a day this week and then will be on maternity leave.
