Last weekend was the annual Holliday Girl's Weekend and this year it was in Sunriver, Oregon. Mike and I took Friday off and drove down to Prineville. It was a gorgeous day! We stopped at his Aunt Liesa and Uncle Jim's house to wait for Book, Mike's cousin, who was giving me a ride. It was so pretty out that we got some beer and sat outside and let the dogs run.
This is Deuce, and Lacey's new best friend! He is about 1 years old and LOVED playing with Lacey all weekend. Mike and the girls stayed at Jim's and they did "guy stuff" all weekend.
Amazing that not one dog went into the pond! Pickle got her feet wet though...lol.
Once we got to Sunriver and settled we went for a bike rike. Brook and I rode a tandum bike for the very first time, sorry, no pics! It was so hard!!! It is amazing we didn't crash and burn.
Here is the link to where we stayed - Tumalo 11.
The weekend was filled with lots of great food, wine, games, wine, visiting, oh - and more wine! We all had a great time. The Holliday family has a great bunch of gals and I love spending time with them!
From L to R: Toni (Mike's mom), Brook, Shelby, Michelle, ME, Tawny (all Mike's cousins), and Aunt Liesa (Deuce's mom)
The cousins!
On the way home we passed through Bend, so of course I had to check in with Leslie. She and her husband went to lunch with us at this really cool new brewery. It was another gorgeous day, but chilly, so we sat outside next to the fire-pit and enjoyed a beer while waiting for a table. The food was delicious, and so was the company!
It was a long weekend, we didn't get home until late Sunday, but totally worth it! It was nice to get out and visit with everyone.....now back to the bathroom...ugh...
