Well Labor Day weekend is a big deal in the 'Burg. There is a huge rodeo, fair and parade. Considering it is our first year here we have to check it all out! But the best part is that Mike was in the parade!!! He drove his boss' truck and drag racer in the parade! Mike figured if his boss was paying him $100 bucks to drive a brand new, tricked out truck in a parade for an hour...he could do it!! AND I AGREED! But it was super fun and of course I took pictures.
Lacey, Pickle and I decided to walk down to the parade. We are starting to train Pickle, but with the horses, firetrucks and other noises it was a tough day...lol.
Here comes Mike!! Look at his royal court wave...ha!
So yes, it was fun....but now Mike wants a brand new truck...ugh. :):) Also, it didn't occur to me that it was about a 1.5 mile walk to the parade, each way.....so the puppies were tired when we got home...lol. Luckily we caught a ride back with some friends! Poor Pickle.
