Pumpkin Patch Round 2

A couple of weekends ago Mike was out of town with some buddies, so I invited my friend Robbi to go to another pumpkin patch in town with Hunter and I. It was a gorgeous fall day and we had a great time!

Cheese!
Robbi got in on the fun!
We ran into a few of Hunter's friends, Peytin and Ethan.
They had a little petting zoo. Hunter WAS NOT interested in petting the goat.
He thought the turkey was pretty cool though.

Of course we had to paint pumpkins. He picked out a little one to decorate. Amazingly enough, there wasn't paint everywhere!
An artist at work.
While the pumpkin was drying we had to hit the corn maze. Hunter had so much fun running down the rows.
I told him to come closer so I could get a picture. I guess I can't say he NEVER listens....
Did I mention it was a beautiful day?
There were "deer" along the way!
Ugh, I just want to squeeze him all the time!
At the end of the corn maze the Boy Scouts were giving out s'mores. I am pretty sure this is Hunter's first s'more..and definitely not his last! He was shoving it in, I am not even joking..lol.
SEE!
Next we were off to the face painting station. We stood in line FOREVER, but Hunter was soo good. He waited patiently and watched the other kids get their faces painted. The sucker and lemonade helped a little too I think.
Any guesses as to what he requested? I will give you a hint, he is also going to be this for Halloween!
Yup, a T-Rex - RAR!!
Didn't she do a great job! The entire time he kept saying "dinosaur" and pointing to his cheek..he was pretty proud. LOL. He sat so still too!! Add in the blue sucker around his lips, the stickiness from the s'mores and just the normal every day appearance of dirt and he was quite a site. :)
I am not sure what else says fall like a picture like this?!
So I ran into some friends that I was saying hi to when Robbi got my attention. Hunter was ready to touch the goat. This was a big deal, he had been warming up to the idea all day. "Goat Face" really wanted to meet him, and yes, that is the goat's name. I am not even joking.
Inching a little closer after watching Robbi pet him...
.....still not sure....
WE HAVE MADE CONTACT! He loved petting "Goat Face"! The goat hair was also a nice addition to the sucker/s'more/dinosaur/dirt face. :)
The final painted pumpkin. One of a kind and very rare.
We had so much fun! Hunter sacked out when we got home and took a super long nap. Thank you Aunt Robbi for coming too!
