End of Summer

A couple of weeks ago we had (what I hoped to be) the last 100-degree weekend of the summer. So even though we were sick of summer and ready to be done, we knew we had to get out and enjoy one last hoorah because before we know it, there will be snow on the ground and I will be wishing I was here:
Beautiful!! We found a great spot up the river, north of Ellensburg. It was quiet and we found a spot where the river forked off a little to form a little wading area for Hunter. We had fun swimming....
...and throwing rocks, of course.
Just chillin', enjoying a snack.
"What?"

We enjoyed a picnic and soaked up a ton of sun. We, as always, had a great time, but I am ready for Fall!
