Well, from my previous post about the weather, you know we had a stretch there where is was unbearably hot for like a week! AND, the best part, the AC at our house broke only a couple days in. Good times. I love being a homeowner sometimes. Anyway, that weekend we headed for the lake and spent most of the day there! It was a little smoky from all the fires, but not too bad at all. You couldn't really smell it, so that was good. Plus, we didn't care at that point anyway, we were hot and needed to swim! LOL.

...either did Pickle! She would bark when we took her out and tied her up. It was so funny, she LOVES to swim! She just does a little loop over and over, only about a foot or so out in the water. She cracks me up.

We had a great day! Luckily the hot weather broke and it has been super cool and rainy! Which we are loving and so are the firefighters in the area. We have been sleeping like babies with the windows open and all that cool, fresh air. Almost feels like Fall!
