This was the scene at my house after Hunter's party. We all vegged on the couch that evening! Cousins!
Grandma Chris couldn't resist snuggling - who wouldn't!?!?
On Sunday a.k.a Mother's Day, most everyone left that morning, but my mom stayed in town until Monday, which was great! It was a pretty nice day so we decided to blow up the pool Hunter got for his birthday.
For those that don't know, the pool had about 20 different sections to blow up, and the traditional way was taking a while.... (Mike is hiding his level of excitement about this project under his hat - and I think there is a beer someone in there too).
After a trip to Fred Meyer to get a pump, wallah! Here is the final product. Hunter was so excited!
Video, of course. And once again I am sorry it is sideways, I need to remember to not turn my camera!
Yup, it sprays water out the tail onto the slide!
Ca-Ute!!
Even cuter!!
We had a a great day playing outside! It got a little chilly so we had to come indoors, still a little early in the year to be playing in the water too much. That evening Grandma Chris enjoyed some more snuggle time with Hunter and they had fun reading books. He loves to read!Monday morning I was scheduled to lead story time at Hunter's school! So it was great Mom could stay and go with us!
Grandma Chris and Hunter on the way to school! We busted out the collared shirt for the occasion.
Hunter's classroom. He loves going to school there! I am reading Curious George. Hunter got the four-pack book set from my friend Libby and they are his favorite, so of course that is what we had to read to the kids!
Hunter's face is priceless in this photo! So cute that he wanted to sit on my lap for the entire time.
We had a great time and it was fun visiting his classroom. I can't wait to lead story time again!
I had a wonderful Mother's Day Weekend. It was the best being able to spend it with my mom and my boys! Hunter got me a beautiful hydrangea plant, a magazine and a really sweet card. Hope all you mom's out there had a great day too!!
