This is where I have been living for the last couple of weeks. This is my table, 4th floor, CWU Brook Library, underneath the “Quiet Study” sign. And yes, I had to “sshhh” a few students - I know, I am old. For my class I had to write a paper in addition to the weekly work and it took over my life for the last few weeks. My class was History of Higher Education and my research question was:
How did the Great Depression and Great Recession affect higher education, and what can universities today learn from these periods to successfully navigate through the continued impacts of the Great Recession and future economic crises?
That's right - sounds pretty official huh? LOL. Anyhoo, it turned out to be quite the paper and it kills me to think that the only person reading it is my professor, considering the amount of hours (I mean HOURS!) I spent on the thing. So here it is, please amuse me and at least open it! Or if you need some reading to put the kids asleep, this page-turner is bound to do the trick. It's 30 pages - so make sure you fill the paper tray! Click HERE to download a copy.
I have a lot to update you on, Thanksgiving, birthday parties, Christmas-stuff, etc. But given the last few months of craziness I am going to take a break until at least the weekend and enjoy some family time. I will overwhelm you with updates then. Hope to reconnect with all my friends and family over the break too!!
