Holliday's head to the Oregon Coast

I am sorry everyone that it has taken me so long to update the blog! It has been a crazy couple of weeks. Swim lessons, a cold that is being passed around the Holliday house and the normal hustle and bustle of work and craziness has made the last two weeks fly by!

Anyhoo, for our 5th wedding anniversary the weekend before last we all loaded up and went to the Oregon Coast to celebrate for a 4-day weekend. It was a wonderful weekend and we had a great time! As always!

Our first stop was in Puyallup to visit the Johnson clan. It also splits up the trip to the coast nicely! We had a nice time visiting and catching up.

Ken just loves his cousin!!
It was here that Hunter has his first taste of green beans. Aunt Cara was nice enough to document it!

Dinner time!
What the h***?? This is gross!
Still not impresses. Help Aunt Cara!
I guess green beans are okay.
Just as long as they are laced with sweet potatoes! *Please note the bib - yes, that is a Boise State bib that was passed down from cousin Ken! I am pretty sure his Aunt Mindy got it for him. A family heirloom of course.
The next morning we got up and headed for Aunt Cammy and Uncle Bob's house!! Grandma Chris came from Portland to spend the weekend with us too! Cammy and Bob took Mike out on the ocean to do some fishing, so Mom, Hunter and I had a lot of time to hang out and do some touristy stuff! We played around Manzanita, went into a pet shop and spent way too much money, and had a delicious Mexican lunch (with peach margaritas - as an ode to Steven...he he).

Hunter's first walk on the beach! It was a pretty day, but just a little too cold still to get him out and splashing in the water. I just love the ocean!

Pickle and Lacey LOVE visiting their cousins, Smokey and Radar. They run and run and run....well, you get the picture.
So, Mike normally "hates" taking pictures for the blog. But did he complain when I wanted to take a picture of him with all the crab they got out on the boat that day....NO! :) He also got a fish, but he had to throw it back. It was a native...or maybe it wasn't and that is why....I don't know, please call him directly for details on the fishing! He had a great time out on the boat!!
Saturday evening we left Hunter in the capable hands of Mom, Cammy and Bob and went out to dinner. It was so nice to get a little spiffed up and have a fancy dinner! It was a beautiful view and the food was delicious! We even talked about other things than spit up, poop schedules and breastfeeding!! LOL! We had a great time!!

Ok, this is hysterical!! Aunt Cammy captured it perfectly!!

Just hanging out with Dad while Mommy gets ready for their date.
Getting sleepy...Mommy is taking too long...

The next day Mom and I took Hunter to the Blue Heron cheese factory. So many yummy treats inside, love cheese! There were gorgeous flowers outside so of course we needed more pictures!!

Mom and Aunt Cammy bought Hunter a life jacket the week before, so we had to try it on to make sure it fit. He is ready for the boat now!!
Hunter is almost crawling! Crazy!!!
Smokey, Radar and Lacey are tuckered out! Not sure where Pickle is...probably begging someone to be on their lap.
Playing with Aunt Cammy!!
Uncle Bob got quite a kick out of watching Hunter.

Just hanging out on the deck playing!

Thank you so much Aunt Cammy, Uncle Bob and Mom for a wonderful weekend! We had a great time playing on the coast and visiting. The food was fabulous all weekend, of course, and Mike really enjoyed going out on the ocean!! Thank you, thank you, thank you! Can't wait to come back again! It truly was a wonderful way to spend our anniversary!
