Early Father's Day

So this weekend we celebrated Father's Day early. We have plans next weekend so I figured it would be better to celebrate early than late! You will note there aren't any pictures with this blog post. Mike isn't a huge fan of the camera and me documenting every waking moment in our house...as he says. So since it was his weekend I obliged and left the camera off...it was hard, I think I may have an addiction.

Anyhoo, we went out to breakfast Saturday morning and it was DELISH! He had two Bloody Mary's, I am pretty sure I was drooling as I sipped my large OJ (which cost almost the same, so stupid). He opened his present from Hunter and was super excited! Hunter got him the kit he needed to go bowfishing. Yes, this is a real thing and Mike's new favorite sport. You hook up your bow with arrows, fishing line and a reel, I kid you not! If you don't believe me, here is a video.

He loves it and has so much fun going out with one of his friend's on the boat. So needless to say, Mike spent the entire day getting his bow tricked out. We then rented some movies and BBQ'd some delicious ribs. It was kind of an icky day out so it was nice to stay in and relax a little.

I sure hope he enjoyed his first "early" Father's Day. I am pretty sure he did! :)
