Hickman's visit Eburg

Well this weekend was a lot of fun. I had already planned on taking Friday off, and I am sure glad I did! My Aunt Cammy, Uncle Bob and their two dogs, Radar and Smokey came to town for a visit! They couldn't have picked a better weekend! The weather was gorgeous!

They were busy Friday, so Mike and I took the boat out for the afternoon. We had a wonderful time on the water, the weather was perfect. I got some more sun! I sure hope I am making progress on my pasty-white skin! We had our visitors over for dinner Friday night. It was 70 degrees and gorgeous. Mike bbq'd hamburgers, and we had watermelon, cole slaw and cantaloup! I miss summer dishes! To top it all off, Mike bbq'd an apple crisp for dessert. It was delish! It was also the apple pie filling I canned last fall.

Saturday they took us out for Chinese for lunch and then we split. Mike and Bob went to do "guy" stuff, and I took Cammy downtown to the Farmer's Market. It was packed and tons of great booths! We got an iced coffee and walked around town and then went to a plant sale. Cammy is the best gardner I know so it was great having her help me pick out some plants for the front of the house!

They left pretty early Sunday, which turned out to be a good thing because we got hit with a lot of flooding Sunday - pics to come!
