Bathroom remodel continues

Ya know, I yearn for the day when I am posting pics of Mike and I on some lavish vacation, but until then, the home remodel pics will have to do!

We are moving right along with the bathroom. We got the new tub in (pain in the a**!), and the new shower wall is all framed out. Why they didn't originally put in a shower, and just had a tub we will never know. We are hoping to install the shower walls tonight, we just bought one of those kits.

New toilet and vanity! We moved the toilet to the opposite corner for more room, and will put some shelving in the old spot. We had to go with the smallest vanity we could find, since there isn't much room in the bathroom, but I really like it. And it matches the cedar ceilings. We have it there just for show, but will move it out when we do drywalling and flooring (hopefully this weekend!!!).
A glimpse of the cedar ceilings, sorry the pic didn't turn out too well. This is also the new window Mike installed last weekend. The other one was huge and would overhang the tub and the shower walls wouldn't fit, so he had to frame out and install a new one.
Anyhoo, that is what we have been up to. I hope to post pics later this weekend with drywall and the shower walls hung! But there always seems to be some sort of hiccup...ugh.

The house is a complete disaster, but that comes with the joy of remodeling, I guess.
