1,000 miles later!

Last weekend I left Mike and the doggies at home and went to visit numerous friends and family. It was a WONDERFUL trip!!

Friday night I went to Portland to visit my mom. My brother took the train from Seattle. We had a really fun evening catching up and laughing way too much!

Then the next morning we were off to Tillamook. My Grandpa was receiving an award from the American Legion for 60 years of service. So we all surprised him!! My Uncle is the head of the American Legion in that area and presented him the award. It was a really great moment and were are so proud of Grandpa!!

Now it was time to head back to Aunt Cammy's and Uncle Bob's, where I always have a great time! They bbq'd steaks and potatoes (from her garden!) and it was soooo good!!

As you can see Uncle Bob got a new toy, so I had to check it out. I think I make it look pretty good don't ya think?!?! Oh yeah, I did hand Mom the beer before operating.

The next day I was off again, to go visit my Aunt Patti. Here is a glimpse of all the fishermen on the coast. I just love it there!!! It was a gorgeous weekend too!!

This picture makes me laugh, because on the way I spotted these deer. Mike stayed home to hunt for bucks and look, I saw one!!! I had more luck than he did!!

The next day I went to visit my friend Libby and her little girl Evie. Isn't she adorable!

We had so much fun catching up. We took a long walk and then went to a great little bakery in town for breakfast and coffee. We sat there chatting for a long time, it was great!!!

I was on the road again and went to visit my friend Leslie. We went to a great little wine bar! Ordered some appetizers. I tried to make a smiley face with the oil and vinegar...lol. The wine was delish!

We had a ton of fun! I was pretty tired from traveling, so we grabbed a pizza and went home to eat and watch Dancing with the Stars! It was great!

I had a great time visiting everyone!! Thank you to my great friends and family for a really fun weekend!
