Officially 30!

I had a wonderful birthday weekend!! I couldn't have asked for anything better. I took Friday off and decided to treat myself to a shopping trip. Whoa! It was like the shopping Gods were smiling down on me, everything in every store fit perfect! AND, front row parking everywhere. I got so many cute clothes, shoes, accessories, etc.! Yes, spent a little cash...but who cares, right!?!? LOL

An intervention might be in order. Came home with 3 bottles of wine from my friends at work.

Friday night Mike took me to one of my favorite restaurants in town for hors d'oevres and drinks. We then decided to bar-hop a little and it was super fun, but lets just say I felt really old (and tired) most of the day Saturday. LOL.

When we got home Mike surprised me with a birthday cake, awe. He said there was a sale going on and a half-sheet was the same price as the full-sheet cake. So he had to get the big cake, right!?!? So, please, stop by and help us eat this cake!!

I thought we were done celebrating, but OOOH NOO! Saturday night Mike took me to a super fancy restaurant for dinner just about 45-min east of here, near the Gorge Ampitheatre. It is called Tendrill's and it is a part of a winery/resort. We did valet parking and all!!! We got all gussied-up and I had seared tuna and Mike had filet-mignon. FANCY! It was so good! We sipped wine and watched the sunset, the view was beautiful along the Gorge. So romantic.

We played around on Sunday in the mountains to get some exercise and fresh air. Also to just get out of town. It was fair/rodeo weekend and the town was crazy!

On Monday my dad and Laura stopped in on their way home from Seattle. We had a nice time chatting and it was great seeing them!

THEN...when I didn't think the weekend could get any better, it did! Boise State beat Virginia Tech! It was a great football game and it came down to the wire! I was so excited!!! They have officially proven they should be going head-to-head with the top BCS teams!

Thanks all for the birthday wishes! I ate and drank too much all weekend and had a great time!! LOL. 30's are already looking like an awesome decade and I am definitely off to a great start!
