It's been a while...

I know, I know. I haven't posted in a while. But I have good reason. The students came back this week and work has been crazy. Plus we have had visitors the last couple of weekends, which has been a lot of fun.

The Grove's family the weekend before last, and Mike's mom came up last weekend. We had a great time with Toni. Went and toured the area, stopped in to a bunch of cute little stores, went to dinner and even hit up a saloon in Cle Elum that I have heard about. It is called The Brick and it was so cool! Huge wood stove in the middle of the bar, a running spit-toon (where they even host spit-toon races!) and just a fun atmosphere! Here is a link to their Myspace page, they don't have a website.

We also went to Yakima, where Mike's grandparents were staying with other relatives. It was nice to be able to visit with all of them and for Toni to stay a long weekend.

I hope everyone is doing well. I know I haven't chatted with people in a while, but hopefully things will calm down soon!
