Hiking Adventure

Last week a couple of girlfriends and I went for a 2-mile hike up Manastash Ridge (a little over 4 miles round trip) here in Ellensburg. It was definitely a very hard hike! It was practically straight up! Ok, not that bad, but it was hard! But it felt great and was a huge accomplishment for me! We are doing it again this Sunday for the Climb To Conquer Cancer hike through the American Cancer Society.

Great views of Ellensburg and the Kittitas Valley. The post in the picture below is the 2-mile mark. We didn't go that way, it looked even harder!

There is a really cool book at the top where you can sign and write a message.

Wish me luck on Sunday! I am hoping to beat my time and not be as "dead" at the top! :)
