Trip to Boise

Last weekend I went to Boise for my friend Sherrie's baby shower. Mike and I drove over to Seattle early to spend the evening with my brother and his family. My mom also came up. We had a great time bbq-ing and hanging out.

Sophie liked to hang out in the back seat of the Jeep with Pickle.
The next day I flew to Boise. Sherrie picked me up and we went out to breakfast at one of my favorite restaurants in Boise. Then we went to the Saturday market, which was really fun. Later that day Sherrie had a great shower outside in the park. It was a gorgeous day and she got a lot of great stuff. She is having a boy and is due in August.
Later in the weekend Sherrie, Cody (her husband) and I went and finished some shopping to get the rest of the stuff needed for the baby. It was so much fun to get the crib made, all the clothes put in the dresser and everything ready. I couldn't help take this photo, Cody is putting together the swing. :) He was quite the trooper!

This is Sherrie's dog Trigger. I have known this dog for a really long time!! When I was in college I worked in the deli at Albertson's. Sherrie lived close by so I would go hang out at her house after work. Trigger would lick my shoes for hours, I think he still smells the fried chicken on me!
Sherrie and Cody. They worked on the name a little while I was there. They have a few good ones on the list, I can't wait to hear what they decide!
She is just so adorable pregnant!
I had a wonderful time in Boise. I love it there. We drove through the Boise State University campus, which has grown quite a bit! So has that whole area!
Thank you Cody and Sherrie for a great weekend! Can't wait to come back again to meet the new baby!
