New furniture

We finally got new furniture! It is very exciting. Both ends of the sofa recline and so does the recliner/glider chair. Mike really likes the chair! We have another end table to put together to put on the right side of the sofa. I also am curtain, rug and lamp shade shopping this week. Sorry the pictures are so dark, it was gloomy day.

New tv stand.

Just so you can see where the stove is in relation to the rest of the living room. Instead of buying another sofa to put under the windows off to the right, Mike had the great idea to build a bench. Considering the dogs would primarily be the only ones using the sofa to stare out the window...we didn't want to spend that much! So I will make a cushion to match the other furniture for the top of it. Plus, it will be a great place for storage and to sit while putting our shoes on and stuff since it is right by the door.
