Very productive weekend

So I decided last week that I wanted to try out canning. There are so many great fruits and veggies at the farmer's market and I wanted to give it a shot. So Lacey, Pickle and I went to the market yesterday and bought tons of stuff! Beans, corn, tomatoes, etc.! I am done canning beans and freezing the corn, berries and grated zucchini (for bread this winter...mmmm)...but tomatoes are on my list for today. Uhh...canning is a lot of work...sheesh! But Pickle and Lacey have been helping tons, picking up all the beans that I drop on the floor.

I am quite impressed that I got the girls to sit by the food to pose for the camera AND not eat any of it!

Mike has been out hunting all weekend...so hopefully I will be posting a picture of him and a REALLY BIG buck here soon! Stay tuned...
